方帆，英国南安普顿大学哲学博士（现代语言与应用语言学方向），师从Jennifer Jenkins教授，现为汕头大学教授（外国语言学与应用语言学），硕士研究生导师。研究方向为社会语言学、应用语言学、英语教学、教师发展等。在国内外学术期刊，包括《高等工程教育研究》、《外语研究》、《基础外语教育》、《语言政策与语言教育》、《汕头大学学报》、Applied Linguistics Review、Asia Pacific Journal of Education、Cambridge Journal of Education、ELT Journal、English Today、Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development、Language, Culture and Curriculum、Language and Education、Language Teaching Research、Lingua、RELC Journal、System等期刊发表论文70余篇，其中SSCI期刊研究论文33篇。在Routledge出版专著一部、编著两部，在Multilingual Matters出版编著一部。主持教育部人文社科项目、广东省社科项目、广东教育厅及各类科研教改项目多项，参与英国文化教育协会项目及教育部人文社会科学重点研究基地重大项目等各类项目。

Fan Fang obtained his PhD from the Centre for Global Englishes, University of Southampton, UK. He is currently Professor at the Department of Foreign Languages and Literature, College of Liberal Arts, Shantou University, China. He has published articles in journals including Applied Linguistics Review, Asia Pacific Journal of Education, Cambridge Journal of Education, ELT Journal, English Today, Journal of Multilingual and Multicultural Development, Language, Culture and Curriculum, Language and Education, Language Teaching Research, Lingua, RELC Journal, System, among others. His latest books include a monograph titled Re-positioning accent attitude in the Global Englishes paradigm (Routledge) and an edited volume (co-edited with Dr Handoyo Widodo) titled Critical Perspectives on Global Englishes in Asia: Language Policy, Curriculum, Pedagogy and Assessment (Multilingual Matters).
